Trinity Introduces Three-Week, Three-Session Evening Webinars!
by Dean of Curriculum Development - Tuesday, June 23, 2009, 11:01 AM

New Testament History and Small Group Dynamics to be Offered in Reformatted Evening Webinars!

Greetings Trinity students! Are you frustrated because you would like to enroll in a Trinity webinar but you cannot take off a whole day of work. Well, I have great news! Beginning August 3, Trinity will begin offering convenient, student-friendly Masters and Doctoral level webinars in a reformatted venue designed for students like you.

What makes these webinars unique is that instead of one day-long event, the webinar event will be divided into three sessions, spread out over three weeks, and meeting once a week for two hours. In addition, to help the working student, the weekly classes will meet in the evening from 6-8 PM Central Standard Time.

Besides the convenience, these webinars are designed to assist you in progressing through your course work more quickly. By enrolling in the three-week, three-session webinar, you have the opportunity to interact with the professor and others in the same course through the chat feature during the webinar sessions; and you will complete one of the required assignments by the end of the three weeks.

To change your enrollment from an independent study to the webinar version of the course, please contact Jeff Bradshaw at (812) 853-0611 today.

3-Day Intensive Seminars Now Available!
by Dean of Curriculum Development - Thursday, June 18, 2009, 01:07 PM

Three-Day Intensive Seminars!

Greetings! I am excited to announce 3-Day Intensive Seminars. This variation of the regional seminar is designed to assist you in completing your coursework and move through your degree program more quickly. The advantage of taking a 3-Day Intensive Seminar over an independent study is that you will have only one assignment remaining upon the completion of the 3-Day Intensive.

Here is how it works. The course start date is 60 days prior to the 3-Day Intensive Seminar event. During the 60-day pre-seminar period you will complete the required readings in preparation for the 3-day intensive. During the 3-Day Intensive Seminar event, course materials and contents will be covered through a variety of learning activities. At the end of the last day you will take the proctored summation consisting of questions over the required texts and the information covered during the seminar event. You will have one assignment left to complete at the end of the 3-Day Intensive.

If you find you have been dragging in the completion of your independent study courses, the 3-Day Intensive Seminar may be the very thing to give you a jump start in progressing through your program. Take a look at the attached schedule and then contact Jeff Bradshaw at (812) 853-0611 today to change your enrollment from an independent study to the 3-Day Intensive Seminar.

Free Research Writing Tool

Thanks to a fellow Trinity student for this tidbit of helpful information.

“I have started using something called Evernote - http://evernote.com/ and it is great. is a great help when doing online research. I think of it like an electronic notebook…”

Evernote allows you to easily capture information in any environment using whatever device or platform you find most convenient, and makes this information accessible and searchable at any time, from anywhere. Did we mention that it's free?

Enjoy!
