Too easy!                                                                                                                              

Trinity is pleased to congratulate one of its faculty, Dr. David Turner, on the publication of his book, Matthew. Matthew is part of the prestigious Baker Exegetical Commentary on the New Testament. Working from his own translation, the volume blends a scholarly approach with accessibility, making it a valuable resource for both the scholar and the pastor.

On April 11-12 Dr. Eyrich will be in Scottsdale, AZ for the third weekend of a Lay Counselor Training course for Covenant Community Church. There have been fifteen people involved in this training program spread over three weekends. Classes are Friday nights at 6 until 9 and Saturdays from 8 until 4. The program has generated so much excitement that the church has invited Dr. Eyrich to return and conduct a second round of the program.

He will go to Scottsdale in July, September and January to accommodate this request. The church has provided an on-site coordinator/facilitator who meets with the class periodically to encourage and direct their study and reading. Dr. Eyrich is excited about the program and believes that the on-site coordinator/facilitator is a necessary component to making the program a success. Such opportunities advance biblical counseling in the local church and stir interest in alternative degree programs.
